I have a feeling it may be happening again. Just had this feeling as I got off shift that something wasn't quite right with the vision again. Had a chat with the quack. Then with eye hospital back home. They said I should get to a specialist as soon as possible. That might prove to be a little difficult as we're 3-4 days steam from Rio. Had a chat to the Captain with the quack. If symptoms don't get worse I'll sign off when we hit port on the 4th. If they get worse it'll mean a long medevac as we're miles away from anywhere. In the mean time no heavy work and definitely no small boats. In fact I might not be allowed down stairs into the IR even. I don't like being useless.....
Obviously with hindsight I may have come back to work too early and certainly shouldn't have gone out in the workboat just yet. That'll be that then. Not much use here without me being a driver.
Not a happy bunny at the moment. Don't really want to put people to trouble but then again it is my vision.
