Managed to get out of the hotel relatively early this morning, yet again avoiding the cooked breakfast.
Probably won't have one tomorrow morning either, as Gordon is planning on taking us out for lunch.
Today we managed to get through some tickets is all. Three of us all day managed 3 tickets. Not a great rate it has to be said but I am still learning and probably driving Malc and Gordon up the wall with stupid questions etc.
Definitely lots to understand and then try to communicate these issues to the vessels so they avoid the tickets again. Oh joy.
Gods the builders are progressing quickly. Already I have seen the rafters and external render going on. Certainly might have an issue at the beginning of next week with the chimney people. Oh well there issue to sort out.
Had a nice roast beef lunch today in the canteen. Bit surprised that the vegetables weren't included in the price. It was worth it though as I haven't had a roast dinner for a long time.
Decided to stop off at the airport to look at dinner options. The Wetherspoon's is certainly cheaper for drinks even after the 20% discount at the Hilton. Will check out the sandwich options available in Marks on the way out.
Bought some sandwiches and a large bag of crisps. Shouldn't have done that as I scoffed the lot later on and almost instantly regretted it.
While scanning the BBC news app I saw an item about a tourist family getting shot in France. Wasn't sure where it was and I wasn't sure that Tracey-Anne and family had got back from their French holiday. I rang Oliver as I thought he'd at least have his phone on.
All safe and sound as they'd been home a few days already. Mild panic over.
The two bottles of Bulmers I had in the airport didn't do my head any good at all.
Watched a bit more Paralympics. Tried to get to sleep fairly early.
Wished Emma a happy birthday.
