Oh I so wanted to stop in bed this morning. Woke up to visit the loo about 0720 and then went back to bed. Felt even less awake afterwards. Didn't re-emerge until about 0930hrs.
Unfortunately I also feel it's important to ship some more stuff up to the new apartment.
Breakfast consisted of two boiled eggs.
Have loaded the large yellow bag with small items for the new apartment. Just have to work up the energy to get dressed! Why is the tea always gone?
I have now worked out how to get pictures into this blasted blog using my tablet. They have to be loaded into an online Picasa album first. This could be from G+ or another picasa album. This does mean that pictures will probably be added at least 1 day later than the text if I can remember.
After getting dressed in most of the layers required for major arctic expeditions, I set off. The temperature gauge was only reading -10°C. 1 less layer which was put in the bag, just in case.
The river by the railway has got ice covered. Must be getting quite thick as it had evidence of people walking on it and the stones in the picture don't look small. Can't imagine somebody didn't try really hard when they were dropped.
It only took me about 30mins to get to the new apartment.
Main purpose of the day was to finish building the bits which had been delivered by IKEA. A computer desk for the bedroom, and unwrapping the washing machine.
It's a bit dark but the lounge area is starting to come together. Will require some shelving and small tables and a rug and some more curtains and......
Took a movie from the front door to show the view from the lounge.
About 1400hrs I headed back to the other apartment to chill out for a bit before getting ready for the office Christmas party.
